En  China han desarrollado una idea revolucionaria para aligerar el transporte público por carretera: los autobuses que circulan por encima de los coches.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Autobuses híbridos, anfibios y que se convierten en trenes para circular sobre raíles. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Se trata de un autobús que ocupa el espacio de dos carriles y que se mueve por algo parecido a unos raíles instalados a los lados de la carretera. Cada uno de estos autobuses tendría capacidad para unos 1.200 pasajeros y podría alcanzar una velocidad de hasta 40 kilómetros por hora.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No son el colmo de la velocidad, pero suponen una ventaja comparativa al aprovechar las infraestructuras de carretera ya existentes y evitar los atascos que suelen producirse en hora punta en estas vías. Las estimaciones que manejan los responsables de este proyecto indican que se reduciría la congestión de las carreteras entre un 25% y un 30%.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Energía solar&lt;br /&gt;Como fuente de propulsión, estos autobuses combinan el uso de la energía que recogen a través de los paneles solares instalados en su techo y en el de las paradas, con la que absorben de la red eléctrica local cuando no logran generar energía suficiente. que se puede montar en 40 minutos y que forma una estructura sólida como el cemento.&lt;br /&gt;Estos refugios hechos de "lona de cemento" ya han recibido la atención de algunos ejércitos y organizaciones de ayuda humanitaria. &lt;br /&gt;Se construyen inflando el refugio de lona sellada hasta que tenga la forma adecuada y, luego, añadiendo agua al material. Incluso los colores se seguirán percibiendo iguales. Este efecto especial permite generar la sensación de que el peso y el espesor de un muro de hormigón 'desaparece'.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;En teoría, una pared construida con esta nueva tecnología (light-transmitting concrete) podría tener varios metros de espesor sin reducir la capacidad característica de las fibras ópticas de trasmitir la luz.También se pueden construir estructuras portantes, ya que la fibra óptica con que está compuesto este material no perjudica la bien conocida resistencia a la compresión del hormigón. Una pila de combustible consiste en un ánodo en el que se inyecta el combustible —comúnmente hidrógeno, amoníaco o hidrazina— y un cátodo en el que se introduce un oxidante —normalmente aire u
